Well it has been a busy year. With under 20 members we certainly lived by the motto of service above self, in providing service in the following areas:
Thank You - Murray Kear
President Rotary Club of Campbelltown
2018 - 2019
John has been a member of the Rotary Club of Campbelltown for 59 years, since 24th July 1958 and at tonights changeover dinner John was made an Honorary member of the Club.

At last week’s Changeover dinner, the Rotary Club of Campbelltown recognised four Rotarians and Community members to receive this recognition because the Rotary Club of Campbelltown believes that their life exemplifies the humanitarian and educational objectives of the Rotary Foundation. We thank them for demonstrating in their life and vocation a commitment to helping persons in need.
Rotary International President Mark Daniel Maloney explained his vision for building a stronger Rotary, calling on leaders to expand connections to their communities and to embrace innovative membership models.
Maloney, a member of the Rotary Club of Decatur, Alabama, USA.
“(Rotary) allows us to connect with each other, in deep and meaningful ways, across our differences,” Maloney said. “It connects us to people we would never otherwise have met, who are more like us than we ever could have known. It connects us to our communities, to professional opportunities, and to the people who need our help.”
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
In 2019-2020, it will be our challenge to strengthen the many ways that Rotary Connects the World, building the connections that allow talented, thoughtful, and generous people to unite and take meaningful action through Rotary service.
This is to give you an update on this year's Sydney City2Surf. So far we have 25 people in the Rotary District 9675 Team. It's not too late for you to join the team.
City2Surf will be held Sunday 11th August. As it is my 30th Sydney City2Surf, I would like you to join me in the celebration. We have a couple of team members in the red group - one is Roger French from Wallacia-Mulgoa Valley Rotary Club. This will be Roger's 45th City2Surf! What an achievement!
I will be in the yellow group and I usually finish in around 2 hours, if you would like to join me in the yellow group.
I would also like to make it a great year for Australian Rotary Health so I have set up a fundraising page. So far I have raised $1362.
You can donate to my page or set up your own fundraising page when you have registered. Please ask all your friends and family to support you and make a donation to Australian Rotary Health.
